Blue Light Protection
Now more than ever, we rely on our phones, computers, and TVs for work and entertainment. These devices are often equipped with LED lights. While they improve the brightness and clarity of the screen, studies have shown that the high-energy blue light that emanates from LEDs can be harmful to your eyes. Blue light exposure can also negatively affect your sleep! That’s why it’s best to read or relax before bed instead of watching TV or scrolling through your phone.
So What Can You Do?
- Avoid using a digital device two to three hours before going to bed
- Expose yourself to lots of natural light during the day

- Practice the 20-20-20 rule; after every 20 minutes spent on a digital device, lock at an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
